Help

Write to support@archiva.info and a person will answer — usually within a day or two. If something has gone wrong, it helps to say which device you were using and what you were doing at the time, but do not worry about being technical. Plain words are fine.

Questions people ask

Do I have to type?

No. Tap the microphone and speak instead. Your words are turned into text, and you can correct anything that came out wrong. Many people find speaking easier than writing, and the result reads more like them.

Can I make the writing bigger?

Yes. Open Settings from the library and choose a larger text size. It changes everything in the app, including reading mode.

What if the companion writes something I did not say?

Change it, or ask it to say it differently. Nothing enters your book until you accept it, and every line stays editable afterwards. If it keeps embellishing, tell it plainly — for example, "keep it plain, in my own words only" — and it will.

How do I get my book out of the app?

From the library, open the menu beside a book and choose Export. You can have it as a PDF to print, an ePub to read on an e-reader, or a Word file to edit elsewhere. Photographs come with it. Exporting is always free and never expires.

How do I let my family read it?

Choose "Share with family" from the book's menu. You will get a private link to send to whoever you like. Only people with the link can read it, and you can stop sharing at any time.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions, then Memoira. You can also reach it from Memoira's own Settings screen. Cancelling does not delete anything you have written.

What happens to my writing if I stop paying?

You keep it. You can read, edit and export every book you have made. What stops is the companion's help with new writing.

How do I delete everything?

Settings has a delete option that removes your account, your books and your photographs. It cannot be undone, so export anything you want to keep first.

Privacy and terms

The privacy policy explains what we hold and who touches it. The terms of use cover subscriptions and what happens if you stop. Both are written to be read, not endured.
